Success Stories

Here’s what some of our Swingology students have to say about us.

“I learned more about the golf swing in the 2 1/2 days I spent at the “Secrets Of The Golfing Machine” workshop with Chuck and Lynn than I have in almost 70 years of golf.”
Peggy Kirk Bell, World Golf Hall of Fame Member

“I believe Chuck to be the most knowledgeable instructor in the game today. But, what truly separates him from other instructors is his ability to take technical information and make it understandable and simple for golfers at any level.”
-
Grant Waite, PGA Tour Winner

“I have learned from Top 100 teachers and any previous instruction I have had pales in comparison to what I learned.”
-Patrick Clark – PA.

“My handicap index went from 8.4 to 4.1 after spending 2 days with Chuck Evans. I also received the “Most Improved Player” award from the Georgia Golf Association. I’m coming back to see Chuck and cut it in half again!”

Lee Griffin – GA.

Chuck I was your student in May. Six hour lesson on a Friday. Your lesson justs keep paying dividends for me. My short game starting with the full extention of the left arm to the ball, is really dependable. The 40-60 yard shots hit and bite with my 54 sand wedge have put alot of circles around scores on par fives and saved pars as well.

Saw you in the latest GOLF issue and thought I should tell you that your lesson is easily the best money I have ever spent on my golf game. Every time I hit one of those punch wedges near the hole I say, ” Thanks Chuck”.

“It’s been almost three months since I attended your Swing School at Emerald Bay.  I just wanted to drop you a note, and say that all is going very well. I now shoot consistently in the 70′s, and my golf swing and ball striking have never been this consistent. I clearly understand now where my hands, shaft and clubhead need to be at all times. When I’m on the course, my key thought is your voice in my ear saying;

”Tell your hands where you want them to go’.

When playing, that is all I think about as far as swing mechanics. When we return to Destin in June, my daughter and son-in-law have already stated that they want to attend your school. See you then!!

Thanks again for my wonderful days on the golf course!”

I was your student last Friday.   Another guy who can’t play dead.hahahaha.  Seriously, I am doing several things better.   Chipping and pitching, for sure!   My short irons lob thru 9 are the best they have ever been.

We were paying Stonehenge on Wednesday and I had 91.5 yards (we had a rangefinder) to a front pin on the 2nd hole. Historically I hit my 58 degree wedge at best 90 yards so I figured I had a good stick and took a full swing.  I hit it 97-100 yards into a back trap, that may not be a success story.

The success is that with the alignment techniques you have shown me I am hitting these clubs where I am aiming and they are going good consistent yardages.

I hit Driver/pitching wedge to two feet on 18 to end the day….Trust me, that broke some hearts, not mine!”

“I am now a HUGE fan of Chuck Evans and his mastery at teaching what others have failed to communicate with me. The day I arrived at Emerald Bay to start my Swingology school with Chuck he asked me to list the teachers and schools I had been to. I told him it would be EASIER to list the ones that I had NOT been to…I have been to every “big name” teacher in the country!

To make a long story short, I learned more, struck the ball better, and heard a sound that I was unfamiliar with – the ball compressing and sounding like a gun shot!

I just want to say thanks Chuck, I am a believer that GOOD information CAN make a golfer better!”

Chuck,

“Your video series is “off the charts” magnificent! Your verbal delivery and explanation of details in each segment is a dramatic example of how simplicity in words along with a “less is more” philosophy always represents a great instructional experience — in any field!

I was gratified to hear about the importance you give to the straight left wrist and the role of the right forearm in the swing. These two aspects are all too often given short shrift by others. Yet both aspects are fundamental to a repeating swing. Most instructors fail to understand this importance.”

MS – CA, USA

“I’m trying to convince Kathy who, by the way, is bombing her drives, to come down this winter/fall.

The convincing may not be too difficult.

She played her first four holes yesterday in 4 over, easily her best start ever, and while she may have struggled coming home, she’s hitting shots I once thought impossible for her….

Now, more importantly, I tossed up a 77 this weekend by shooting a 34 on the closing 9.

Easily my best 9 holes ever!

There’s nothing sweeter than compressing the golf ball consistently. A friend, who hadn’t seen me play since last October, even commented that he’s never heard my ball striking sound so good.”
