Johnny Miller Speaks Out

NBC golf analyst Johnny Miller put his foot in his mouth, again, during this years US Open when he said that Rocco Mediate looked like the guy that cleaned Tigers pool. Miller also wondered aloud if the USGA would put the name “Rocco” on the trophy. Both of these comments drew fire from groups, Italian Americans.

Miller issued an apology stating he made a poor choice of words and in no way meant anything derogatory to Rocco or the Italian community.
