How The World’s #1 Player Fares
Tiger Woods is the world’s # 1 player but what may surprise you are some of his “lesser known” stats.
First, his average first putt on greens was 30′ 3″ - that was good enough for 25th place.
Approaches from 50-125 Yards - 16′ 3″ - 6th place
Approaches from over 200 Yards - 41′ 6″ - 75th place
Rough Proximity, 37′ 1″ - 10th place
and finally, Fairway Proximity, 26′ 2″ - 7th.
So the next time you’re standing in the fairway at 100 yards out and hit it to 15 feet you have just hit it closer then the best player in the world!
