Medicus Golf and KaizenGOLF are excited to announce the new Champions Player Program, providing professional players from the PGA, Nationwide, Hooters, LPGA, Duramed Futures, eGolf Professional and European Tour with a complete swing and cognitive coaching package and training tools for ongoing improvement during and between seasons.

Chuck Evans, Medicus Golf Executive Director of Instructor and Golf Magazine TOP 100 Teachers in America, and Caleb Scorsone, Founder and Sports Cognitive Coach of KaizenGOLF, work with tour, amateur and collegiate players to create customized swing and cognitive instructional programs. Cognitive coaching is the management of mental and emotional processes in order to maximize one’s full potential. Each player is personally assessed, with the resulting program, ensuring continuous development, the achievement of full potential, and consistent high-level golf performance.

As needed, Players will have access to the Medicus Golf Performance Center in Augusta, Ga. In addition to one-on-one customized coaching, players are able to take advantage of the V1 Digital Coaching System (providing a 4 camera visual learning experience), the FlightScope’s 3D Doppler Tracking Radar, and TrackMan ball flight monitor. These devices provide a number of measuring variables related to equipment, swing path, clubface yardage gaps between clubs and much more.

Additionally, Chuck and Caleb travel to various tournaments throughout the season assisting with pre-tournament preparation, competitive round observation and post round assessment for peak focus and performance. Working with experienced swing and cognitive coaches who understand the rigor of weekly tournaments provides tour players the ability to develop and maintain a high-performance edge.

Chuck Evans is one of 31 teachers worldwide designated to hold a “Doctorate in Golf Swing Engineering”. He is Executive Director of Instruction for Medicus Golf and has served as Director of Schools for the PGA Tour Academy, The Director of Instruction for United States Golf Institute and The Golfing Machine. Medicus Golf Juniors Dominate Leaderboard at Indian Bayou Emerald Coast Junior Golf Tour Event

Indian Bayou played very long and was a good test for all divisions on Sunday. Presenting itself in immaculate condition on a hot and sunny late summer afternoon, Indian Bayou once again proved why it is one of the favorites on our tour.

Medicus Golf Junior Development Player Trey Aguirre was back to his old self after illness, shooting a back nine 37 to distance himself from the pack to win the Boys 14-15 division and almost lock down the Year End Points race.

The Boys 12-13 saw the close finish we have become accustomed to. Medicus Golf Junior Brock Ochsenreiter, only 11 years old but plays in the older age group shot 79 to take second place honors. This event was a great tune-up for Brock as he travels to play in the PGA National junior tournament the weekend of October 10.

In the girls’ 12-14 division Medicus Golf Juniors Madison Pacheco and Antonia Poate finished 2^nd and 3^rd to finish out of first place by 2 and 3 strokes respectively.

A Rising Star in the Medicus Golf Junior Development Program

Once again Lady Fortune shines on Medicus Juniors at the recent Emerald Coast Junior Tour event played at Santa Rosa Beach GC. After all the rain we’ve had locally the course played very long and the humidity was almost unbearably high. Despite the conditions two players emerged from the Medicus camp and performed at a very high level.

The Boys 14-15 Division played off the back tees and saw Harrison Krause, the youngest player in the division, shoot 78 to finish in 2^nd place by three shots.

In the Girls 12-14 Division, Madison Pacheco also shot a very impressive 39-39-78 for a comfortable win over Jade Sanders and points series leader, Kayla Bloor. Madison managed to par all Par3’s and has now moved into 2^nd place in the annual rankings. Madison has also moved up the rankings despite playing in a limited amount of events. Madison is a rising star and at only 12 years old, her distance, scoring and play rivals that of the boys in the 12-13 year old age group. A star is definitely being developed.

Our Player Development Program consistently produces better players. Just ask our players!

The Medicus Player Development Program is a simple yet scientific golf instruction program that educates juniors on swing mechanics (Medicus Swingology™) and defining a swing pattern for accomplishing life long swing success. The program encompasses on course training and management, equipment fitting, and mental coaching.

The key ingredient that we provide is a “Game Plan” for success. In doing so we empower the player to absorb, apply and even correct themselves when things may go awry. This is precisely what all our players have, and are receiving, on a daily basis through our Player Development Program. These students range from junior to mini tour players.

The “hands on” approach of the Medicus Development Program allows Medicus to become a true advocate for the player to a level where player and families are required to “lean” on Medicus heavily at all times. It is an all around “TEAM” effort from families to coaches to Medicus Corporation.

The Players are monitored via the Medicus Corporate Website (www.medicuscorporate.com) via email, as well as text messaging and phone conversations regarding any issues the player may see on a daily basis but also during tournament play. Parents are instructed to keep Medicus informed and updated to scores and how the player is performing on course. Players’ post tournaments are debriefed, assisting all parties of a plan of action for the continual improvement and success of the player.

The key for all players, from a coach stand point, is total commitment to the “plan” without hesitation. A dedication to succeed creates open communication lines where the player is always questioning, monitoring and following up every 1-2 days to assure clarity and staying to plan. Players then become educated regarding their swings that even from afar we can talk through any scenario leading the player to corrective solutions with ease. Players golf swings are filmed and online lessons are provided by Director of Instruction Chuck Evans or the many Certified Medicus Instructors made available through our Worldwide Medicus Training Network. Students can access lesson material and communicate with instructors through the Medicus Corporate Website. Our goal, for those who desire, is to likewise increase the players visibility with college coaches across the country so that they may be placed on the radar for potential college golf.

Medicus continues to “dominate” the world of golf in its efforts to raise the level of competition in the game of golf. We look to educate, train, and provide products that completely meet the needs of a players improvement.
