You’re being taught what your instructor thinks his or her own swing feels like. This may give you fleeting moments of success, but when you lose that “feel” you’re left with nothing – you have no laws or truths on which to rely. You’re stuck on a blind search for another “feel.” “Feels” are no prescription for constant improvement. They’re a band-aid fix.
Most “seems as if” golf instruction sticks to generalities and avoids details. General information may take you from a 35 handicap to a 25 handicap, but it certainly won’t bring you into single digits. The truth is in the details – the details are what enable you to smash through your plateaus and consistently improve.
Golfers and instructors must accept and understand that all golf swings are the same – the only difference is the individual application. This very concept baffles many in golf, as instructors don’t consider individual applications and instead try to fit all golfers into certain swing patterns. We feel its backward thinking to try fitting a student into a predetermined swing pattern; the swing pattern should be customized for the student.

Medicus Golf Schools Worldwide instructors based in Arizona take advantage of the latest in instructional technology, including the V1 Digital Coaching System. This system provides the student an unmatched visual learning experience that accelerates game improvement.
Instructional programs planned for the Medicus Golf Performance Center/Arizona include Medicus’ flagship junior development program, as well as private lessons and golf schools for adults and families. Curriculum for the programs is provided by Medicus Certified Pure Strike Instructors under the direction of Evans.
Golf instruction at the facility is based on The 5 Simple Keys that all great players have in common. Pure Strike is the science of the golf swing, and proves that all successful golf swings maintain a simple set of important “constants” – identical ingredients called key alignments. The swings of most PGA TOUR professionals look slightly different, but the key alignments are the same.
While most golf instruction today emphasizes “position golf,” Pure Strike emphasizes alignment golf. Alignment golf is superior because you can be in all of the supposedly correct positions, yet still completely miss the golf ball; if you have proper alignments, you can miss the supposed correct positions and still play good golf.
