David Branshaw used a critical three-shot swing on the next-to-last hole to win the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship and along with it, grab a berth on the 2006 PGA TOUR. Branshaw, the second- and third-round leader, had temporarily lost his comfortable lead but recovered just in time Sunday to earn his second career title. More importantly, the 36-year old collected $117,000, which vaulted him from No. 29 to No. 7 on the final money list and earned him one of 20 PGA TOUR cards for the 2006 campaign….read more
